Guest Portal — talk to your guest all the way through the stay

The guest gets their own page with all the practical details — wifi, breakfast, check-out and how to find you — and you send the message that fits where in the stay the guest is. Before arrival, on arrival day, while they are there and after departure. Automatically, by email and SMS.

30-day trial · No commitment · No app · the guest clicks a link · the bookings come from your PMS

Do you know the answers?

2 questions most hotels cannot answer

Guests ask the same things every time — what is the wifi code, when is breakfast, when do we check out. The answers exist; they just live in the receptionist's head and in an email someone wrote by hand last Tuesday.

1

Did the messages actually reach the guests?

2

Are we talking to the guest all the way through, or only before arrival?

Part 1 of 3 · The portal

The guest's own page — with no app to download

You build the page from ready-made blocks and write the content once. The guest gets a link and opens it on their phone. At Silo Stay there are six blocks: the welcome with a photo of the house, the practical details, two about the house and the area, the map and a button that calls reception directly.

  • ✓Six block types — welcome, text, info list, image, map and a button that calls or writes
  • ✓Written once — the wifi code and breakfast times live in one place — not in twenty hand-written emails
  • ✓The guest's own language — each block can be written in several languages, and the guest gets theirs
  • ✓No app — a link in the email or a text — the guest downloads nothing to read it
Part 2 of 3 · The automation

The message goes out when the guest is at the right point in the stay

A trigger is a message with a timing: so many hours before arrival, at check-in, after departure. The bookings come from your PMS, so it knows by itself when the guest arrives. Silo Stay has four — one for each phase of the stay.

  • ✓Four phases — before arrival, arrival day, during the stay, and after departure
  • ✓Timed in hours — set the distance to arrival, departure or the actual check-in
  • ✓Email or SMS — the same trigger can do both — or just one of them
  • ✓Run it and see what went out — every sent message is in the log with recipient, channel and status

  • Arrival day See you today — here is the way 4 hours before arrival SMS
  • During the stay Welcome to the house At check-in Email
  • After departure Thank you for staying 24 hours after departure Email

Part 3 of 3 · The SMS channel

The message the guest actually reads

An email two days before arrival gets read. An email four hours before rarely does — by then the guest is in the car. SMS is billed separately in credits, so you only pay for what is actually sent: a short message is one credit, a long one is two.

  • ✓Your own sender name — the guest sees the hotel's name, not a number
  • ✓Credits, not a subscription — you buy a package and draw from it — usage is shown in the module
  • ✓Under 160 characters is one credit — the counter sits next to the field as you type
  • ✓Alert when the balance is low — an email before it runs out — and automatic top-up if you want it
How it works

From data to decision

No manual entry and no spreadsheets — the module builds on the data the hotel already has.

1

Build the portal

Choose the blocks, write in wifi, breakfast and check-out, and add the map. Once.

2

Create your triggers

Choose phase and timing, write the text, and set the channel: email, SMS or both.

3

Follow the log

The Sent tab shows every message with recipient, channel and status — including the failed ones.

Where the answer is

The portal talks to the guest — the modules tell you who the guest is

The guest portal sends the message. Who is coming, when they book, and what they said afterwards live in the modules that read the bookings and the reviews.
